Senator Richard D. Roth’s district office staff will be holding community office hours in Jurupa Valley on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 10267, located at 8607 Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley, CA 92509.

Staff will be available to assist with any questions or issues you have regarding state services and programs. Brochures and information will be available and your opinions are always appreciated on state legislative issues.

The Senate Public Safety Committee unanimously approved Senator Richard D. Roth’s (D-Riverside) proposed new law to hold state officials accountable to provide accurate financial reporting and statements. 

Senator Roth’s proposed new law, Senate Bill 801, would require that any person responsible for auditing the accounts of a state agency who knowingly misrepresents any state financial or statistical reports be held criminally liable.

On a unanimous, bipartisan vote, the Senate Education Committee passed Senator Richard D. Roth’s (D-Riverside) Senate Bill 21 to fully fund the University of California, Riverside Medical School.
