Statement by Senator Richard D. Roth (D-Riverside) On the Passing of Robert Schwandt

It is with enormous sadness that we learned of the passing of our good friend Robert Schwandt. Bob was a true public servant, serving with distinction, commitment, and dedication as a Trustee on the @AlvordUnified School Board since 2014, elected as its President three times. A product of Alvord schools, he was a treasure in our region.  Bob was intrinsically involved in the local community, building bridges and forming partnerships with various organizations which benefitted Alvord students. Cindy and I send our hearts and prayers to Bob´s wife Beth, their children, and grandchildren, during this extremely difficult time. We will miss you, Bob!
