Senator Richard D. Roth’s Statement on the Passing of Daniel Hantman

I am profoundly saddened by the passing of my dear friend Daniel Hantman.  I first met Dan over 40 years ago when we were both practicing lawyers in Riverside. He became a lawyer, after serving in the Peace Corps, specializing in elder law, representing clients who had been denied benefits from the Social Security Administration. Dan was a titan in the legal field and our region. In 2012, the Riverside County Bar Association presented Dan with the E. Aurora Hughes Meritorious Award for Service. He was a person of great intelligence, integrity, and determination.  He will be greatly missed. Cindy and I send our love and prayers to Dan’s family during this most difficult time.
