Riverside, CA—Senator Richard D. Roth (D-Riverside) has secured $500,000 for Olive Crest, which is dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, and equipping children and families in crisis in Inland Southern California.

“Abused children, and families in crisis, need a lifeline, and for fifty years Olive Crest has been that lifeline,” said Roth. “I have seen firsthand Olive Crest’s transformative and empowering work in our community to ensure every child who comes into their care will be nurtured in a safe and loving home.”

“We are extremely humbled by Senator Roth’s generous support of the services we provide in our community,” said Tracy Fitzsimmons, Executive Director of Olive Crest in the Inland and Desert Communities. “This support will bolster the impact we make as we pursue transformational healing in the lives of the children and families we serve. We are profoundly grateful!”

The $500,000 Roth secured, will go to Riverside County for Olive Crest for infrastructure, programs, equipment, or facilities for children and families in crisis. To date, Olive Crest has helped transform the lives of over 200,000 children and families in all of its regions spanning across the Western United States by preventing child abuse and restoring the family.
