Senator Cervantes Announces Tami Friedrich 31st Senate District Woman of the Year
(SACRAMENTO, CA) --- Senator Sabrina Cervantes honored Tami Friedrich
of Eastvale as the Woman of the Year for the 31st Senate District at a State Capitol ceremony yesterday hosted by the California Legislative Women’s Caucus. This annual ceremony, held during Women’s History Month, marks the first time since its 1987 inception that parity exists amongst male and female members in the California State Senate.
“Tami Friedrich is an unstoppable force in our community, relentlessly working to create a more just and equitable world for all. She is a passionate advocate for women’s health and rights; she has led efforts to improve road safety, and so much more. Tami’s leadership, commitment, and selfless service have left a lasting impact in the 31st Senate District,” stated Senator Cervantes.

Sabrina Cervantes is a working mother of triplets and wife who proudly represents the 31st District of the California State Senate, which encompasses the Inland Empire cities of Corona, Eastvale, Fontana, Jurupa Valley, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Perris, Riverside, and San Jacinto, and the unincorporated communities of Coronita, El Cerrito, Good Hope, Highgrove, Home Gardens, Lakeview, Meadowbrook, Mead Valley, Nuevo, and Romoland. She currently serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Elections & Constitutional Amendments. Cervantes also served as Chair of the California Latino Legislative Caucus from 2022 to 2024.
La Senadora Cervantes Anuncia a Tami Friedrich, Mujer del Año del Distrito 31° del Senado
(SACRAMENTO, CA) --- La Senadora Sabrina Cervantes honró a Tami Friedrich, de Eastvale, como Mujer del Año del Distrito Senatorial 31°, en una ceremonia celebrada ayer en el Capitolio Estatal, organizada por el Grupo Parlamentario Legislativo de Mujeres de California. Esta ceremonia anual, celebrada durante el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer, marca la primera vez desde su creación en 1987 que existe paridad entre hombres y mujeres en el Senado Estatal de California.
