Bay Area Reporter: Political Notes: Out CA Legislators to chair affinity caucuses in 2027

As has become a biennial summer tradition in Sacramento, various affinity caucuses for state lawmakers have elected incoming chairs for the next two-year legislative session. Several will be led by LGBTQ politicos. The California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus is also welcoming a historic leadership team for the next two-year session, as Latino legislators will hold its top two positions for the first time since its founding in 2002.
