As part of the 91 Project, the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) will conduct a full weekend closure of both the eastbound and westbound 91 between the 71 and I-15 in Corona, beginning 9:00pm, Friday, February 19, and lasting until 4:00am, Monday, February 22. Because of the impact that a full closure will have on this heavily traveled roadway, the 91 Project team is urging motorists to "steer clear" of the area during this closure.

The Green River Road interchange will remain open to motorists. However, RCTC is urging drivers to steer clear of this area, if possible.

During the weekend closure, emergency vehicles will still be able to travel on the 91, as needed, to respond to police, fire and medical situations. A briefing is scheduled with all area emergency responders and transit operators to discuss plans for this closure.
