Dear Friend:

Providing our students with the resources to succeed academically and shape their careers is absolutely critical to their future, our local economy and is frankly the right thing to do. That's why I wanted to make sure you and your family knows about the FREE Pathways to Higher Education Conference I will be co-hosting with the Riverside Unified School District this Saturday, October 3, at John W. North High School.

The Conference will provide students and families a wide range of information including advice on which courses to take to meet A-G requirements, writing a successful college entrance essay, securing financial support and more.

Scheduled to speak are RUSD Chief Academic Officer Lynn Carmen-Day, RUSD Board Vice President Mr. Tom Hunt, UC Riverside Executive Vice Chancellor Paul D'Anieri and a student panel of former RUSD students who will discuss what it takes to be "College and Career Ready."
