My office has been notified by Caltrans that major road construction projects on State Route 60 (SR 60) from Euclid Avenue in Ontario to the 60/91/215 Interchange in Riverside will begin this week.  Please carefully note the following:

Effective Friday, July 26 a massive paving project will include full directional weekend closures on SR 60 from the Interstate 15 (I-15) Interchange to the 60/91/215 Interchange.  These weekend closures will be conducted for the next 14 weekends as follows:

1. From July 26 through September 9, there will be full closures of the eastbound SR 60 from the 15/60 Interchange to the 60/91/215 Interchange on weekends from 10:00pm Friday to 5:00am Monday.
    
2. From September 20 through October 28, there will be full closures of the westbound SR 60 from the 60/91/215 Interchange to the 15/60 Interchange on weekends from 10:00pm Friday to 5:00am Monday.

During these closures, Caltrans encourages you to follow these detour routes:
 

Caltrans will also begin a series of bridge replacements on SR 60 in and around Chino in the Fall, 2019.  Together, these improvement projects have been dubbed the "60 Swarm" and have been estimated to last through the Fall of 2021.
