Dear Friend:
Recently, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake shook Taiwan and the effects, like a tsunami, had the potential to impact California’s coastline. While rare, most Tsunamis are caused by earthquakes and the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) continues to monitor these events around the clock for potential impacts to communities across the Golden State.
Did you know? California, and especially Inland Southern California, is known as earthquake country with seismic activity in various magnitudes, and everyone should take proactive actions to stay ahead of the next big one.
