I am proud to join the Moreno Valley Unified School District in hosting the first Pathways to Higher Education Conference in Moreno Valley.

I strongly encourage middle and high school students and their parents to attend this FREE conference on Saturday, September 23 at Vista Del Lago High School, 15150 Lasselle Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92551. Registration begins at 8:30am and the conference will be held from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Continental breakfast will be provided.

The Pathways to Higher Education Conference is being held in conjunction with the University of California, Riverside, California State University, San Bernardino and Moreno Valley College. The conference will give students an in-depth look at what it takes to get into college and pursue higher education, and will cover taking the right courses in high school, writing a successful college entrance essay, and securing financial support and more.

This is a unique opportunity for students, parents and family members to learn about various options and opportunities available to earn a college education.
