Riverside, CA— Delivering once again for the region, Senator Richard D. Roth (D-Riverside) has secured, in the 2023-24 state budget, half a million dollars for the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California.  The monies will fund an electronic archival system, which will document the oral histories of California residents who have made significant impacts on the advancement of civil rights in the region, and to support an enhancement of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Downtown Riverside planned by the Riverside African American Historical Society.

Perris, CA – In a major budget win, Senator Richard D. Roth (D-Riverside) has secured $7 million to enable the Southern California Railway Museum to connect to the Perris - Downtown Metrolink Station and $2 million for the expansion of the Perris Senior Center in the State’s 2023-24 Budget.

SACRAMENTO, CA—Senator Richard Roth’s (D-Riverside) Senate Joint Resolution (SJR) 3, which urges Congress and the President to give the City of Eastvale its own zip code, has passed both houses of the State Legislature. Currently Eastvale shares a zip code with the City of Jurupa Valley and a zip code with the City of Corona.
