Senator Roth Announces 2015-16 Committee Assignments

Senator Richard D. Roth (D-Riverside) has been appointed by the Senate Rules Committee to the following standing committees of the California State Senate for the 2015-16 legislative session:

  • Chair:
    • Budget Subcommittee #4 - State Administration and General Government
    • Insurance
  • Vice Chair:
    • Joint Legislative Audit
  • Committee Member:
    • Budget and Fiscal Review
    • Health
    • Transportation and Housing
    • Veterans Affairs

Senator Roth said, “I am excited to continue working on the issues facing all Californians.  I am also looking forward to conducting critical oversight to hold state government accountable and fighting for our region to receive its fair share.”

“We will face challenges in making long overdue improvements to our region and state’s decaying transportation infrastructure and improving access to healthcare, especially in underserved areas,” Senator Roth continued.  “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Legislature to ensure the 2015-16 legislative session is a productive one for all Californians.”
